I am overjoyed to tell you that President Biden has listen to the members of AFGE Local 1216. It's official, we're getting a 5.2% pay raise in January 2024. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude towards all those who have contributed to this victory.
During the year, my team and I had the opportunity to walk the hallways of SFVA (including the CBOC's) and listen to your concerns about your pay. I appreciate your willingness to share your thoughts with us and allow us to understand your perspectives on this issue.
I am humbled by the fact that many of you took the time to visit the Local website and filled out the petition as we suggested. This was done at every Local in AFGE, and it would not have been possible without your support.
