For some reason the VA has choosing to take away the breakrooms from departments such as Dietary, EMS and others.
As some of you already know, Pharmacy has move from their normal location to building one. During lunchtime President Clark Parker and Executive Vice President Brandon Kuhia witness the Pharmacy department eating their lunch in the middle of the hallway during a constructions zone. This is unacceptable that no one from Pharmacy leadership advocated for these employees to have a dedicated break room.
Local 1216 reached out to VA leadership. After a couple discussions with Stephen Ruggirello, we were able to come up with a solution.
